I created this picture three years ago. I'd intended to make my own "stamp" to print on the back of postcards instead of the Queen. Lockdown creative inspiration

  The story behind this one; Whilst in the corona virus lockdown, I took a cycle for my daily exercise into town, where I was expecting deserted streets and clean air, just like the previous six weeks. I was shocked to see the bridge over the Thames full of cars; the whole town centre locked down with traffic gridlock. Why? The McDonalds drive-through had reopened that morning. Extinction Rebellion October 2019

I think it's safe to say I've just had one of the most emotional weeks of my life. I've slept on a wooden floor, on the concrete of Whitehall outside Downing Street, a plastic mattress in a Forest Gate police station cell, on grass and then mud in Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens and, hopefully tonight, an electric blanket on board my old wooden boat. There Is No Time Machine App

My comics aren't black and white because they're cheaper to produce than full colour; the printing costs are exactly the same in fact. Though clearly full colour would take more resource time to create in the first instance. They're black and white because I like it like that. Stark. Brutal.
